Tom Martin
I am an experienced defense attorney serving clients throughout northern Colorado. With more than 10 years of experience representing men, women and juveniles charged with misdemeanors and felonies, I possess a sophisticated understanding of the legal system. As a dedicated criminal defense lawyer, I will aggressively fight to protect your rights at every stage of your case. When I uncover that law enforcement personnel have violated your constitutional rights, I fight hard to have evidence suppressed and charges dismissed.
That's who I am in the office while I'm fighting for you, but beyond the suit and tie is a little bit more than an aggressive criminal defense attorney.
When I first started practicing law, I had trouble finding a job. But after a bit of thinking, I decided that if there were no jobs for me, then I would just make my own. Although I grew up in New York City where the skyscrapers tower over everything you do, I liked living in Fort Collins and thus, my practice was born.

Fort Collins suits me perfectly. The fantastic weather and outdoor activities of Colorado are self-explanatory, but other than that, I love the diversity that a college town offers. There are plenty of different types of people from all over the world and plenty of different people in different occupations. Exposure to a variety of people means exposure to the world and in that sense, I am very worldly.
When I'm not in the office, I enjoy being outdoors. I particularly enjoy white water rafting and skiing. I also like to read, ride bicycles and make pizza, which I consider to be the best in northern Colorado. If I'm not doing any of those things, then chances are I'm practicing with my guns at the shooting range.
